The Board of Directors and staff of the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development would like to invite all members, investors and manufacturers of Henderson County to the 3rd Annual Industrial Executives Forum.  The 2010 Forum will be focused on Infrastructure, and specifically how it relates creates opportunities for the economic development future of Henderson County, NC.

Program time will include panelists from Asheville Regional Airport, AT&T, Cane Creek Sewer District, City of Asheville Water, City of Hendersonville Water & Sewer, Duke Energy, Progress Energy, PSNC Energy, NC Department of Transportation and Norfolk Southern Corporation.  Each panelist will provide a brief overview of their existing structure, capacity, future development plans, demand and recent trends.  After panel presentations Henderson County manufacturers will have an opportunity to consult directly with the infrastructure representatives and ask 1-on-1 questions specific to your business.

As in previous years the topic of this forum is a direct result of feedback provided by HCPED members, investors and manufacturers.  About one-third of our meetings with industry in Henderson County have a specific infrastructure concern or need.  Our focus is to be proactive in connecting business and business leaders with key infrastructure allies.

The 2010 Industrial Executives Forum is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Blue Ridge Community College’s Technology, Education & Development Center.  Networking and coffee will begin at 8:00 am, program starts at 8:45 am and concludes at 11:30 am.  Please call 828.692.6373 or email josh@hcped.org to let us know if you or a representative from your business will be attending.
